William Austin Blackthorn is an Entrepreneur, Business Owner, and Father whose life has been shaped by hard work, perseverance, and a determination to build a lasting legacy. His connection to Dobermans began in childhood through his mother, Kimberly Morgan, as Dobermans were always part of their family. That early connection eventually led him to establish Blackthorn Kennel, a competitive Doberman breeding program. As he developed the program, Mary Rodgers of Marienburg Dobermans became his most important mentor, helping him deepen his knowledge and understanding of the breed and responsible breeding. Outside of dogs, he developed a strong foundation in competition and the trades. He was a Archer and Wrestler, experiences that taught him discipline, resilience, focus, patience, and precision. After graduating high school, he attended trade school, earning certifications in Crane and Heavy Equipment Operations as well as his Class A CDL. He then went on to build a successful career in Crane Operations, Environmental Drilling, and Heavy Equipment Operations. His years in the trades provided him with valuable technical experience, a strong work ethic, and the practical skills that would later influence his own businesses. In 2023, he left his career in the trades to become a full-time entrepreneur and founded Blackthorn Boarding Facility. Building upon his lifelong experience with dogs, the facility developed into an established boarding operation focused on individualized care, responsible handling, and structured interaction. In 2026, he founded Standard Solutions Construction Services, returning to the industry he knew through his professional background. The company provides excavation, demolition, junk removal, garage cleanouts, property cleanup, material delivery, and more. As his businesses grew, he established Blackthorn United as a holding company to bring his ventures together and create a foundation for future growth. While entrepreneurship is a major part of Williams's life, his greatest accomplishment and priority is being a father to his son, Thomas Owen Blackthorn. His number-one goal has always been to be the best father possible. The businesses he builds and the legacy he is creating are ultimately driven by his desire to provide Thomas with a strong foundation, opportunities for the future, and an example of what can be accomplished through hard work and perseverance. Williams's journey—from growing up with Dobermans, to competing in Archery and Wrestling, to building a career in the Heavy Equipment industry, and ultimately becoming a full-time Entrepreneur—reflects the principles he continues to live by: Work hard.
